Packing Willpower to Travel to London

I'm heading out now to London for Affiliate Summit with a box of Atkins Advantage Almond Brownie Bars.

The plan is to eat well for the whole trip (through this Saturday).

But sometimes plans get foiled when traveling.

Not sure if I'll be able to get my exercise in while I'm in London, and I might be tempted by some local cuisine and late night pub visits.

Must. Stay. Focused.

Im Going to Lose, but How?

I'm kicking off my Affiliate Fit Club efforts now - starting at 216 and working on getting down to 195.

In the past, I had decent success with Atkins, so I was thinking of going with that, again.

But the menu gets a little old after a while.

My wife is pushing for me to try the Weight Watchers core plan, since she's on it, and that would greatly simplify the menus in my house.

Tough decision, because I like grilling and eating steaks, chicken, burgers, etc. The Atkin's meal replacement bars are not great, but they are edible. And I enjoy eggs, cheese and veggies.

Hmmmm. Think I'll start on Atkins and do some research into WW.

My Stats

Name:Shawn Collins
Age:37
Height:6'0"
Starting Weight:216 lbs
Target Weight:195 lbs
Bio:

When my father was in his 20’s, he was in great shape. He was in the Army reserves and always very active. When he hit his 30's and started working more and playing less, the pounds starting packing on. He always planned to start exercising and eating better. It was always something he was going to start soon. Then he died at 61 from various conditions related to his weight.

I love eating food that’s bad for me, and I’m not so crazy about exercising. But the most important thing in my world is my family, and I want to drop weight and get into a healthier lifestyle, so that I live well past the age of my father’s death, and spend many more decades with my wife and kids.
